Our wild alternative egg hunt is back this Easter! A firm favourite over the years, this egg hunt is a fun and engaging way to discover the weird and wonderful eggs of the world!
Suitable for families with children aged 5 - 16yrs, drop in between 10am - 2pm to particiapte.
Weather permitting the hunt will take you around the glorious Stanpit Marsh nature reserve, where many internationally important bird species are currently arriving to set up home for the summer, and where the iconic marsh ponies reside.
Back in the little wood behind the visitor centre you will have the chance to create an array of Easter inspired crafts using natural materials and natures treasures.
We will also have the camp fire going for you to toast hot cross buns and marshmallows, and as always plenty of time to connect with nature and engage in adventurous play.
Pick up your map from the start point in the little wood behind Stanpit Marsh visitor centre. Park in Stanpit recreation ground car park. BH23 3ND. See map below.
£7.50 per child. £5 1st additional child/sibling.
10am - 2pm - drop in any time between this time, but please allow 45mins-1hr for the hunt. Last entry 12.30pm.
